How can we help?

As Admins make changes to System Data, this can have an impact upon both new and existing estimates. To keep your estimations as quick and accurate as possible, we have defined the following rules:

• When a new estimate is created, the Estimate Builder will automatically be populated with up-to-date System Data: Rate Cards, Resources and Products. While the estimate remains editable (Opportunity and In/To Review statuses), any changes to Rate Card and Resources data will be reflected on the estimate. Product data held in the Product Directory will also be impacted, although any selected Products will not be impacted.

• If a Reviewed estimate is reverted to Opportunity, the Estimate Builder will automatically be populated with up-to-date Rate Card and Resources data. Product data held in the Product Directory will also be impacted, although any selected Products will not be impacted. While the estimate remains editable (Opportunity and In/To Review statuses), any changes to System Data will be reflected on the estimate.
  
  
• Pre-existing estimates with a Reviewed or Closed state will never be impacted by any changes to System Data, so long as they remain in this state.
